Many times a question raised in my mind that how and why places become invested with holiness and how the heavenly is corporeal or made manifest through art and architecture? Yeah! I am exploring my views about Stonehenge.
It is unstylish, cryptical circle of upright stones in southern England what the world called it as Stonehenge. If you refer to the history the construction on the great monument began 5,000 years ago; the famous stones that still stand today were put in place about 4,000 years ago.
Over 800,000 visitors attract towards the mysterious and great age of Stonehenge. Many of us say that an unquestioned Stonehenge was built as a spectacular place of worship. It is the reason this site has become a place of pilgrimage and worship. It is also popular with new-age passionate follower and admirer, who described that it has powerful energies at the site.
By the way if you would like to visit this place just plan it at first light or last light because you will avoid most of the crowds at these times. One more thing to say here is, in the summer time the sun is at its greatest distance from the celestial equator so just think about it. I think it is another good time to avoid, because Stonehenge is totally jammed. But one thing is clear just do not visit to Stonehenge England to have a great experience.
