Charming Hill Stations - Just Rest and Relax

Hi all you! If you are tired of the busy life amid concrete and high rise buildings? Looking for some peace in the lap of nature? It's time to move on to the hill stations that are worth visiting this month.

You know what? Hill stations have always been the most favored destinations for me and those who prefer to spend some time amid natural beauty, cool breeze and above all the essence of purity.

Bhandardara: There are many charming and little-known hill stations in the Western Ghats, but perhaps none as natural as the little hill-station called Bhandardara in Maharashtra. Situated very close to Mumbai, this hill station is one of the well known tourist destinations for a delightful weekend. It is said that, once you got to this place you will certainly be drawn by its tranquility again and again.

Panchgani: A small town in Maharashtra - Panchgani is situated amid five hills. It is a beautiful hill station with various attractions for the tourists like: tableland, Parsi point etc. Besides these, it is the fresh breeze that acts as an ingredient in attracting the tourists here, who simply come here to sit back and relax.

Bhimtal: Located just 22 kms away from Nainital - Bhimtal is considered to be one of the most famous tourist spots in Uttarakhand. The peaceful and serene lake constituents one of them. Tourists can also go trekking on the old mountain route from Kathgodam to Kumaon and beyond, going up to Tibet and Nepal. Besides this, one can also visit the Folk Culture Museum which houses a vast collection of artifacts.

Kurseong: Situated at a height of 1458 m, Kurseong is a happy little junction on the Darjeeling-Siliguri Toy Train's route. The nature lovers who wish to spend some time in peace prefer coming to this place. If you go there once, you will realise how time stands still in this beautiful hill station.

Yelagiri: If you are looking for peace and solitude or some quality time to create a bond with your family, the best place to go is the one and only-Yelagiri in Tamil Nadu. Nature is said to be at its prettiest in unpolluted Yelagiri. The up-hill drive, with 14 hair-pin bends, takes one through some spectacular scenery. So, come to Yelagiri to enjoy, relax and treat yourself with a holiday that will always remain in your memories to cherish.

Virajpet: Situated in the Kodagu District of Karnataka, it is a hub of attractions for the tourists. Places worth visiting here include: the Ayyappa temple halfway up the hill and the Shiva temple at the top of the semi-spherical Malethirike hill, 220 years old St Anne's church with two massive bells of the ancient times that are in use till date. So, just plan for rest and Relax.
