Virat Nagar Museum, Bairat - 35

Guys this Virat Nagar museum features excavated material from ancient sites. The exhibits include pottery, old coins, seals, metallic pieces, weapons and statues.

This Museum is settled at Virat Nagar, the former capital of the fabled Matsayadesh. The region around the district of Jaipur, Alwar and Bharatpur came to be known as Matsyadesh in the epic period.

The museum demonstrates some of the antediluvian materials found during the digging. This museum has some wonderful collections which includes potteries, paintings, old coins, seals, metallic pieces, weapons and statues.

You can visit here from 10.00 am to 04.45 pm and the entry fees will be charged as Rs. 3/- for Indians and Rs. 10/- for Foreigners.
