The Gandhi Memorial Museum (Rajghat) and the Gandhi Smriti Museum (Tees January Marg) - 21

There are two museums and a monument at Rajghat where Gandhi was cremated. The museum has a large collection of photographs on Gandhi’s life and a few of his personal belongings. The life of Gandhi has been illustrated in an unusual way in these museums by using a series of small doll houses and terracotta dolls portraying the major events in his life.

This personal museum displays the sentimental value of Mahatma Gandhi. There are original copies of his correspondence as well as photostats of his letters and the journals he published. These are further affixed by microfilms and a number of photographs which describet the various facets of his intellectual voluntary gift to "Young India."

Guys you can also visit at Gandhi Smriti. It is the house where Mahatma Gandhi passed his last 144 days of his life before he was murdered by surprise attack for political reasons on the unfortunate day of 30 January 1948. This museum is located on 5, Tees January Marg. The Government of India later exchanged it into a national memorial and devoted it to Gandhiji. This building consisted to one the popular business houses of the country, Birla Group, from whom it was developed by the Government of India in 1971.

Guys it a quiet and calm place that one can live without undue worry. I suggested every visitor must visit at this place to get life's calm moments. This memorial has been projected in such a way to highlight various aspects of the life of Mahatma, his ideas, principles and values.
