India : Pune : Maha Ganpati - Ranjangaon

Ranjangaon, the place of Maha Ganpati just 5 kms away from my office at Ranjangaon MIDC. Every day I got blessings of Maha Ganpati traveling by company bus.

Ranjangaon is one of the eight places associated with Lord Ganesha, popularly known as "Ashtavinayak".

The idol of Lord Ganesha is known as "Swaymbhu" i.e. self created. The village Ranjangaon, is 55 kms away from Pune. The original graven image was very big but was enshrouded to prevent its devastation and now a days smaller idol was installed instead of it.

This village located in Pune-Ahmednagar highway. To come to rest at Uruli Railway Station on the Pune-Solapur lane. The temple is placed 16 km from the station.
