India : Ajmer & Pushkar Lakes - Take a round

Ana Sagar Lake, a large contrived lake created in the 12th century against a beautiful scenery hung at back stage of hilly piece of ground. On its bank, is a beautiful park, the Daulat Bagh, featuring a series of marble pavilions built in 1637 by Shah Jahan.

Foy Sagar situated on the outskirts of the city this picturesque lake is named after the engineer responsible for it construction.

The Man Sarovar, Bindu Sarovar, Narayan Sarovar, Pampa and Pushkar Sarovar together found the "Panch Sarovar" of five sanctified lakes of Hindy mythology.

Sambar Salt Lake, the largest salt lake in India. This 20 mile long and 2 to 7 mile wide lake covers on aera of 70 sq. miles. The lake fills during the monsoon and almost dries up in the summer, uncovering a huge bed of salt. Thousands of flamingos flock here during the winter month from October to January.
