Wildlife in Jharkhand : Topchanchi Wildlife Sanctuary - 16

A small sanctuary, spread over an area of 8.75 sq. kms. abounds with panther, wild boar, langur and barking deer.

The Topchanchi Wildlife Sanctuary at Bihar is beatified with a color of untidy grasslands and bamboo trees. This sanctuary is positioned in the Dhanbad district that is situated inside the premises of the Jharkhand.

When to visit: October to June

Where to stay: Comfortable well furnished Inspection Bungalow of the Jharia Water Board.

How to get there:

Dhanbad, the coal city of India, is the nearest rail head.
