Government Museum, Kota - 52

The museum features miniature paintings of Bundi, Kota, Nathdwara and Jaipur schools. There are also a number of manuscripts in Sanskrit, arms and several kinds of handicrafts on display.

This museum put up in the Brijvilas Palace near the Kishore Sagar, the museum exhibits a rich collection of uncommon coins, manuscripts and a representative selection of Hadoti sculpture. Especially remarkable is an delicately sculptured statue brought here from Baroli.

The archaeological division of the museum comprises of various sculptures, some dating back to the Gupta period (4^th century). Sculptures worth mentioning are Shesh Sayi Vishnu from Badoli (Chittaurgarh), Jain image of Vardhaman from Baran and a dancing pair from Ramgarh. Some examples and also displayed in this section. Yupa pillars from Badwa are very important examples of 3^rd century A. D. showing the quality of Vedic religious rite. Various types of coins from different families can also be seen in this part.

It has a Painting division that has various miniature paintings of Bundi, Kota, Nathdwara and Jaipur schools. Paintings of Shrimad Bhagawata of the early 17^th century are most beautiful from the point of view of craftsmanship.

Various Sanskrit manuscripts can be seen in the manuscript section. They include Vedic, Astronomical and Astrological works. Some Hindi manuscripts are also maintained. The Gita and the Bhagawata written in the minutest letters on paper scroll are worth mentioning from the beautiful handwriting point of view. Apart from these arms, several kinds of handicrafts, costumes, etc., are also displayed in this section. A bird's-eye view of the cultural aspects of Kota region is available in this section through photographs, charts, maps etc. All you can visit here from 10.00 am to 04.45 pm. Take an entry passes at nominal charges of Rs. 3/- for Indians and Rs. 100/- for foreigners. This museum remains closed on Fridays.

Government Museum, Jodhpur - 50

Guys, Government Museum, Jodhpur is a large collection of stuffed animals, including a number of desert birds are featured. There are also wooden biplane models and a model.

This museum is settled in the Umaid gardens on High Court Road, it has aboastfully and averagely fascinating collection.The museum building and the garden were formulated during the time of Maharaja Umaid Singhji.. There are many stuffed animal, enveloping a number of desert birds in two glass cases, each with a thorn bush. The military section includes awkward wooden an old fashioned airplane models and an over-the-top brass battlewagon.

This Government Museum, Jodhpur has a ample collection of weapons, textiles, miniature portraits, local crafts and images of Jain Tirthankars. Rajasthan's popular Government Museum also has a public library and a zoo, located in the pleasant Umaid Gardens. The museum holds a special drawing card for kids. This museum opened from 10.00 am to 04.45 pm and remains closed on Fridays and Gazetted holidays.

Government Museum, Jhalawar - 49

Guys this museum has sculptures and architectural fragments of the 8th century city of Chandravati, and sculptures and inscriptions from the Jhalrapatan region.

The Jhalawar Government Museum, demonstrated in 1915. It is located next to Bhawani Natya Shala. It also displays paintings, manuscripts, idols and beauteous statues of Vishnu, Krishna, Ardhanariswara and Trimurti. You can see here the displays of uncommon manuscripts, sculptures, coins, paintings, statues of various deities, old inscriptions (dating back to 5th and 7th century), etc.

Here you can see the noteworthy contributions from various rulers including Zalim Singh. He has made it a rich state with regard to a culture. Lying in the south-eastern region of Rajasthan at the edge of the Malwa plateau, Jhalawar has rocky but water-laden verdant landscape, unlike much of Rajasthan. One of the highlights of this museum is the Ardhnarishvara Natraj statue, which was also displayed in Moscow during the Festival of India celebrations.

Just visit here between 10.00 am to 4.30 pm. Please keep in mind that this museum remains closed on Fridays and gazetted holidays. Entry fess charged here is Rs. 3/- for Indians and Rs. 10/- for foreigners. So, do not miss to the Government Museum of Jhalawar.

Government Museum, Jaisalmer - 48

Guys this museum has a large collection of wood and marine fossils. There is also a sculpture from the ancient township dating back to the 12th century.

Jaisalmer has changed large qualitative change as one of the chief tourist destinations in Rajasthan. The exquisite city is close in the middle of the supernatural Thar Desert. The Jaisalmer city is looked up to both by Indians as well as foreign tourists. The city is patterned with historical monuments such as the Jaisalmer Fort which will draw your attention. The Jaisalmer city is also known for its old mansions, better known as Haveli. The city is detect with the senses for gamy feelings and is famous for Laddos which is the most attracting sweet dish and should not be missed at any cost!

Government Museum, Jaisalmer is settled on Police Line Road near Moomal Hotel. It was opened in 1984. It houses a great collection of wood and marine fossils and gives an insight into the geological past of the area. Sculptures from the earliest townships of Kiradu and Lodurva dating back to the 12th century and the graceful youth of those times can be traced in the Government Musuem in Jaisalmer.

Most types of common marine fossils, buried in shale, limestone, and sandstone and initially laid down in prehistoric seas, are likely to be found in the Government museum in Jaisalmer. Many of the hard-shelled creatures and early craniate animals are fairly well constituted in the fossil record, while soft-bodied animals, such as sea anemones and worms, can also be seen in Government Museum in Jaisalmer.

Here you can visit other dazzlingly beautiful places in Jaisalmer include the Gadsisar Lake, Manak Chowk, Tazia tower, Nathmalji-ki-Haveli, Patwon-ki-Haveli, Salim Singh-ki-Haveli, and Jain temples. Amar Sagar 5 km and Barmer is well-liked for its elite handicraft items. The best shopping items are embroidery works, wooden items, and silver jewelry.

Government Museum, Jaisalmer opened from 10.00 am to 04.45 pm and it remains closed on Fridays. It has a nominal charge of Rs. 3/- for Indians and Rs. 10/- for foreigners.

Government Museum, Bharatpur - 37

Guys, Government Museum of Bharatpur has a rich collection of archaeological wealth of nearby areas, as well as objects from the old Bharatpur state is on display.

This museum is settled in the centre of the notable Lohagarh Fort, the Bharatpur Museum houses a rich collection of archaeological wealth of the nearby areas as from the old Bharatpiir State. The immense impressive building Kachahari Kalan, once the administrative block of the rulers of Bharatpur state, was convinced into a Museum in 1944. Afterwards, the Kamra Khas (personal chamber) building on the first floor was added to the museum. Government Museum, Alwar, Rajasthan - 33

Guys Government Museum, Alwar is a unique collection of arms, lacquered and ivory work, musical instruments and brass and pottery works from Jaipur, Multan, Bengal and Sri Lanka are on display. The museum also has miniature paintings as well as Persian and Sanskrit manuscripts.
