Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, Jodhpur - 51

Guys, this museum features a uncommon collection of clocks, watches, find china, ornate mirrored furniture and crystal ware of an extraordinary brass battleship.

Maharaja Umaid Singhji was very charmed by western lifestyle. So, he employed the services of a well-known Edwardian architect, Henry Vaughan Lanchester to get Umaid Bhavan palace built. A part of the palace now houses the Umaid Bhavan Palace of Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

The museum is very well kept up, displaying an exclusive range of items belonging to the Maharaja and the royal family. Rajasthan's famous Umaid Bhavan Palace Museum is highly advocated for its display of items ranging from weapons to an array of stuffed leopards to antiques to some fascinating crockery to various trophies. Also exhibited is a huge banner presented by Queen Victoria and an amazing collection of clocks. You can visit here from 09.30 am to 04.45 pm with nominal charges. The entry fees charged is Rs. 10/- for Indians and Rs. 100/- for foreigners. It is one of the most visit place of Jodhpur.
